How to Cancel Your Subscription

Manual Cancellation Required

Currently, subscription cancellations must be processed manually by our team. This ensures we can properly handle your account closure, assist with any data export needs, and process your request before your next billing cycle.

Send Cancellation Email

Send an email to matt@bishoptech.dev with your cancellation request. Please include your organization name and the reason for cancellation (optional but helpful for improvements).

Email Template:

Subject: Subscription Cancellation Request - [Your Organization Name]

Message: "Hi, I would like to cancel my MyTeamAI subscription for [Organization Name]. [Optional: Brief reason for cancellation]"

Timing is Critical

To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, your cancellation request must be received at least 24 hours before your next billing date. Check your account dashboard or last invoice for your billing date.

💡 Pro Tip: Submit your cancellation request at least 48-72 hours before your billing date to ensure processing time.

Confirmation & Data Export

You'll receive a confirmation email within 12-24 hours. We'll also provide instructions for exporting your data if needed. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

Important Notes

Processing Time

Cancellation requests are processed within 12-24 hours during business days (Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM EST). Requests submitted on weekends will be processed the following Monday.

No Partial Refunds

As stated in our Terms of Service, all sales are final. Cancellations stop future billing but do not provide refunds for the current billing period. Your access continues until the period ends.

Data Retention

Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation for recovery purposes. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted. Export your data before cancellation if needed.

Reactivation

You can reactivate your subscription at any time by signing up again. However, previously deleted data cannot be recovered, so you'll start with a fresh account.
